Entering its eleventh year, the Foundation Board's annual benefit for the library is now called
At 2018's Library Benefit at Schedel Gardens supporters packed the venue and we found ourselves quickly running out of enough room to comfortably accommodate everyone. We came to the conclusion that when all was said and done, this was a good problem to have arisen out of ten benefit evenings spent together. In order for this important event to continue to grow and attract new supporters, the Foundation Board has decided to move it to a new site.
We are excited to announce that in July 2019 the event will take place in a larger, more apt setting: the Bowling Green library itself!
With this new venue, our benefit has been renamed WCDPL Foundation’s Novel Night. The evening will remain a lively blend of fun and laughter that also provides an opportunity to raise funds to add more new novels (and non-fiction books, chapter books, picture books, audiobooks, large print books, e-books, etc.) to the library’s collections!
Mark your calendar now and save the date of Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (doors open at 5:00 pm) and join us for our Novel Night at the BG library (251 N. Main St.).
A limited number of tickets are available at the BG library check-out desk. Ticket cost is $100 ($75 of which is tax deductible).
Hosted by WCDPL Foundation, underwritten by generous donors.
