Thanks to an agreement between the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) and LinkedIn, WCDPL joins Ohio's libraries in offering lynda.com free to library cardholders.

Lynda is an online training service that provides access to thousands of online courses on everything from computer programming to podcasting to web design. The agreement is the first-of-its-kind in the nation. Grab your library card and check out lynda.

After logging in with your library barcode, you must create a personalized lynda.com account by entering your name and e-mail address. This account helps you manage your course history, playlists, bookmarks, and Certificates of Completion.

The video below provides a brief, helpful introduction to lynda.com, And don't forget: WCDPL staff are just a library visit or phone call (419-352-5050) away if you need more help.
