Thank You for Helping Us Secure the Library's Future!
The Wood County District Public Library is proud to announce the Securing Our Future Campaign has exceeded its $2 million fundraising goal.
This campaign, which went public in February of 2026 with a goal of raising funds to support WCDPL’s future, met its goal through support of many donors. Campaign support is more than a contribution, it is an investment in lifelong learning, community resources, early literacy support, and so much more. These funds will help ensure WCDPL remains a welcoming resource for generations.
A majority of the gifts received from this campaign will be placed into endowments or will be realized at a later date with legacy gifts. These endowments and legacy gifts will support WCDPL for many years to come, providing a stable financial foundation of the library in times of funding uncertainty.
Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without YOU! Every dollar matters. Every gift, shared library story, and trust in WCDPL helped build the momentum that carried this fundraising campaign beyond the goal. Thank you for your incredible generosity.
On behalf of everyone who walks through the WCDPL doors now and in the future, thank you, this would not be possible without our incredible community.
