Help Us Secure the Library's Future
If you see the value in what WCDPL provides, we invite you to help us secure its future. Your support can help provide early literacy initiatives, materials, programs, speakers, and more for future generations.
We envision a future where WCDPL continues its legacy of discovery, exploration, and creation as a continuing cornerstone of our community. The goal of this campaign is to preserve the library's 150-year legacy and support its longevity. This is done through endowments and documented legacy gifts to have a full financial picture for the future. We are proud to be fiscally responsible, and this campaign ensures we can continue to be and still provide much-needed resources for the community.
We continue to see a rise in use: more library card holders, checkouts, and programs with higher attendance. In over 2 decades, operation and materials cost has risen. In order to provide outstanding services, resources, and materials, we need private philanthropy in addition to our Public Library Fund and our local levy.
We hope you will make a gift, pledge, or legacy gift to this campaign to make a lasting impact to the legacy of the library.
Ways to Give
Our goal for this campaign is $2 million over the next three months. With this campaign, we hope to raise funds with gifts, pledges, and legacy gifts. These contributions will grow our endowment to generate annual income to support the library.
You can support the campaign by making a:
- One Time Gift
- Multi-year Pledge
- Planned Giving or Legacy Gift
- Donating Appreciated Assets
To make a gift or pledge, please contact Jessica McClure, Director of Development, at (419) 352-5104 ext. 232. You can also make a gift or pledge through our website.
