The Friends of the Library's mission is to support the library through volunteer service and fundraising activities. Providing support for library programs and resources is accomplished through annual book sales, Friends membership dues, and special fundraising activities. Proceeds from these activities are used to benefit a variety of programs within the library, as well as some outreach services in the community. Donations from the Friends have made the purchase of materials and equipment that the library would not have otherwise had. The Friends are also active volunteers, assistants for community events, and avid supporters of programs and services for the library.
